elana's house

Today is the least monotonus day of my entire summer. I'm going to visit one of my best friends, Elana. I have absolutely no idea what we'll be doing or that I'll live through it. No, I'm pretty sure I'll live.Unless some aliens come or something. In which case, I think I'd actually be safer at Elana's seeing that she lives in Military housing.
Also Taking Back Sunday (quite possibly one of the greatest bands around) is coming to Hawaii!!!! Guess where I live? If you guessed anywhere but Hawaii, you're wrong!! Yeah, they're coming to Hawaii in September which just happens to be the month before my birthday. So I'm hoping I can play the 'birthday' card on my Dad so that he'll buy me tickets. They're playing at Pipeline which means I can't go in alone.
Okay, I'm gonna go now. Elana's mom might come pick me up soon. Bye :)

Cool Bands

Three Days Grace - This band is pretty great. My sister introduced me to them. I'm not sre how she started liking them but I'm glad she did. My favorite songs by them are: Over and Over, and Born Like This
The Used - Yeah, yeah, yeah I know they're already popular but you should listen to them anyway. The first time I heard them was when I listened to the cover of 'Under Pressure' they did with My Chem. I absolutely love Bert's voice and I can really relate to their lyrics. Some cool songs by them: All That I've Got, The Taste of Ink, Pretty Handsome Awkward, and The Bird and the Worm and the rest of the Lies for the Liars album... I could go on, but I won't :)
Say Anything - Ahhhh Say Anything. I love this band to death. All of their songs are so unique. I think everyone in the world could like at least one of their songs. They're that versatile. Max Bemis is an amazing singer/songwriter and the rest of the band are quite amazing too. Songs I like: Chia-like, I Shall Grow, I Want to Know Your Plans, All My Friends, and Baby Girl, I'm a Blur. I could still go on for hours.
My Chemical Romance - Another popular band. This was my first favorite band. I loved them so much and I still do. They're music is amazing. It's the only band where I know all the member's names and birthdays. Songs I dig: Mama, The Jerset Life is Gonna Kill You, Demolition Lovers, and many, many, many more.

Awesome Books

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket - Lemony Snicket has a really great writing style that makes me love his books. I love the main characters and how they always manage to escape danger. These were like the first really cool books I ever read, and I will love the forever.
The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead - This is one of my favorite series of all time. Rose, the main character, is really awesome. She's definitely realistic and I like to think I'd act the same way if I was put in some of the situations she was in the books. Anway, the plot is great. My friend, Alisha and I always joke that if they don't make it into a movie, then we will.
The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer - I know, most everyone's probably read it, but it was pretty good. I loved Emmett's craziness and I think Alice is awesome. Plus, I'm pretty jealous of Bella. The books are way better than the movies, by the way.
The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson Series by Louise Rennison - Georgia is pretty relatable and I love the wacky stuff she and her friends do together. It makes me wish I lived in England for some reason.
The Decoding of Lana Morris by Laura and Tom McNeal - This books is awesome. I've never read a story like it. The main character, Lana Morris, is pretty relatable and I really like the way the story turns out. It's definitely unexpected.
